Andy Jamieson

It is with great sadness that I write to tell you that Andy Jamieson has died.

A number of you will not have known Andy as he was very active in the

Charlie Wickett / Bruce Charman / Peter Hayward era.

Andy was a qualified referee, the Sunday League referee appointment secretary at one time, a LVP of both the Hampshire & IOWDFA’s.

He served on the local referee’s committee as it was then & also served on local discipline for a number of years.

Andy was a quiet person who did not have a lot to say but he was passionate about football & a great servant to the local game.

Although not an active member of Council recently due to mobility problems this was his 38th year on our Council.

Andy’s funeral is on the 31st of May 2016 at the crematorium at 12.45pm.
